Student Guide

Kenjitsu as taught in Nami Ryu is a broad and vast study, encompassing all aspects of Kenjitsu (the battlefield art of the Samurai utilizing the sword/katana), Iaijitsu (the rapid deployment of the sword unsheathed from the saya, as well as empty hand arts. The study is designed to improve capabilities of the mind, concentration, focus, body movement. This can only be accomplished through relaxation and flow, which are also taught and studied in Nami Ryu.
